INGREDIENTS:

• Cefquinome sulfate……………………………………….. 25 mg

INDICATIONS: Treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to cefquinome:

r
• Cattle: respiratory tract infections caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica, mastitis, necrotic dermatitis, foot-rot.

r

• Calves: septicaemia in newborns.

r

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: By intramuscular injection:

r
• Cattle: 1 ml/25 kg body weight, once a day for 3 – 5 consecutive days (for dairy cow mastitis: 1 ml/25 kg body weight, once a day for 2 consecutive days).

r

• Calves: 1 ml/12.5 kg body weight, once a day for 3 – 5 consecutive days.

r

Or by subcutaneous administration, two injections with 48-hour interval: cattle 2.5 mg cefquinome/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml/10 kg body weight).r
r
NOTE: Shake the suspension well before use. Do not exceed 10 ml at one injection site. Do not administer to animals less than 1.25 kg body weight.r
r
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: Treatment for 3 – 5 days: for meat 5 days, for milk 1 day. Two injections with 48-hour interval: for meat 13 days; do not use in dairy cows producing milk for human consumption.r
